除了 windows 自己带的防火墙之外，免费的防火墙很多了，国内的天网之流我过去用过后来觉得还是不很爽，换了 zone alarm, 当然下面了有很多了，请诸位自己选择了。防火墙的作用我就不多说了，主要是防止木马的入侵还有其它人的恶意行为.Online Armor 免费版,ZoneAlarm 免费版 ,Comodo 个人版 ,Privatefirewall ,Sunbelt 个人防火墙 .... 选择自己机会多，还是老规矩，先国外 Windows 防火墙后国内 Windows 防火墙，不是看不起国内的，而是国内确实做得很糟糕的。
1、Online Armor 免费版
这是一款众多技术论坛推荐的防火墙软件，可以有效地防御黑客入侵和网络攻击，而且用户界面都非常简洁。Online Armor 支持 XP, Vista 和 Windows 7。不过，Online Armor 不支持 64 位版 Vista 和 Windows 7。
需要提醒的是，安装完成后用户还需要注册，而且免费版 Online Armor 比付费版少了很多功能。

2、Outpost Firewall 免费版
这是一款支持 Windows 7, Vista, XP 和 Windows 2000 的优秀防火墙软件，用户界面都简洁。 但微软已不再向 Windows 2000 用户提供技术支持。Outpost Firewall 提供输入和输出网络防护，并且是提供主机保护的基于规则防火墙。 不过，免费版 Outpost Firewall 功能方面存在一定限制，缺少了网络内容拦截和 IP 地址黑名单功能。

3、ZoneAlarm 免费版
ZoneAlarm 来自互联网安全保护领域首屈一指的 Check Point 软件技术有限公司，支持 Windows XP, Vista 和 Windows 7。ZoneAlarm 提供输入和输出网络防护，反钓鱼功能和 2GB 在线备份空间。这个防火墙功能之强大，我的最爱，不过要好好用，才能发挥好的作用。

6、Sunbelt 个人防火墙
在 30 天试用期后，Sunbelt 就会提供有功能限制的免费版本。Sunbelt 个人防火墙可以拦截广告和记录网络运行日志。用户只可以在 Windows XP, Vista 和 Windows 2000 中使用 Sunbelt。
目前，Sunbelt 还不支持 Windows 7 系统。
